Bruised apple/pear, citrus blend w/ grapefruit leading the charge, malt, ginger, graham cracker, chalky powder, limestone marl, light bread dough to baguette crust, withering yellow flowers, excellent rainfall acidity, balanced, nicely toned, elegant and smartly elegant polish that lasts a full minute and lands on soft spice - volcanics. @BarDuChampagne - Amsterdam.

85/15 PN/Ch with 2016 vintage and 56% reserve wines, disgorged Nov 2019. Fruitforward on the nose with fresh raspberries & red currant, juicy bright lemons, maybe a touch of basil + only a bit of brioche / lemon tart. Fresh & bone-dry on the palate with tiny, persistent bubbles and a nice rich mouthfeel. Focused & precise with good depth & long finish. This is a lovely, fruity yet savoury wine. I really like it.
