Singing pretty sweetly 20 years on. A rare bird.

Beats cali chard I've had. This wine belongs in Burgundy.

Cork was completely saturated and corroded. Didn’t seem to matter. Wine was showing great. Toast and butterscotch. Love these Kalin’s.

Ka-razy great stuff. No way I would pick this as a chard. Bordeaux...maybe. Slight oxidation points it in the direction of desert wine but then the dryness sneaks up on you. Honeyed sugars linger at the finish. Beautifully complex. Glad I've got a few of these. 1995 and still going strong.

Acidity is almost a bit too much; still great interplay between acid, oak, and fruit.
