A unique style of Txakolina to be sure, due to their estate being 50km inland from Getaria on higher ground and in clay soil. Certified organic (only producer in the D.O.) and bottling with only naturally occurring CO2. Plenty of weight and texture from lees aging, pair this with shellfish and other white proteins like you would Chablis or Muscadet.

Terrior trumps varietal and even fruit type! This could almost be Basque cider.

That s funkiness! A complete discovery. Easy to drink, yeasty, fresh, and nicely balance. Viva Espana

Atypical txakolina. Nice and round, not bone dry.

Some what Riesling like - little funk that blew off almost immediately some interesting spice elements and minerality apple fruit with the lees contact texture and just a slight spritz Went great with the warm octopus salad

Fun wine. Apple spice, kerosine, great acid and food worthy. Thanks Andrew!

Nose: very interesting organic wine, with a distinctive mix of fruit (Zeist citrus, tropical hint - papayas), flowers (can't say which ones), snappy minerality. Palate: fresh and light, still good combination between minerality and fruit. (Bottle Apostle - enomatic - 18/07/2016)
