Mushrooms, rose pedals, red fruits, high intensity on the nose. Delicious!

Lovely aromatic wine from Gaja. Good to drink now with a brief decant but pretty sure this will hold up for a long time if you choose to keep. Went quite nicely with some dry aged ribeyes.

We had two bottles from the same case and there was a little variation Nose: Medium intensity, a bit of that floral rose petal tar character from Nebbiolo. Second bottle more open then the first tho intrerestingly. Still some green pyrazine characters with little tietrtary aromas. Not as fragrant as I was expecting it to be though. Palate: woo still young. Medium + body and tannin. There's a touch of oak, maybe it's cause I'm just getting over a cold but it all tasted a bit too austere for me. Finish was medium, acid medium which is good. Still has life. Tldr: Nebbiolo still too young at 20 years.

Floral nose with some oak aromas. Big and still tannic. Enjoyable but without much nuance for me. May still get a bit better with another year or two.

Good, quite good, inviting nose, violets and silky berries, balance and length, great investment .

Sublime. Could honestly use a bit more time, or at least a 1.5 hour decent to soften a touch. Incredibly aromatic, excellent fruit and structure with good acidity, super long finish, silky mouth feel.
