This Israeli Cabernet Sauvignon based blend, is always enjoyable. Nicely balanced with mild complexity and a soft mouthfeel. Shows black and red fruits, vegetables, earth, wood, cloves, chocolates, spices and peppercorn. Tangy finish with soft tannins. Needs 90 minutes to open up properly, and will be better in a year or two. A blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot, 8% Syrah and 10% Cabernet Franc. Aged for 10 months in French and American oak barrels. 14% alcohol by volume. 88 points. $30.

Elegant Cabernet blend. Good structure and acidity. Almost reminiscent of a Syrah, with some smoky, savory notes.

Soft and elegant Bordeaux blend from Israel. I let this decant for an hour and kept going back for more. Not particularly complex but thoroughly enjoyable.

Kosher for Passover. Decanted for one hour. Wonderful with brisket. Received an extra 1/10 of a point for being KP or it might have been an 8.9

Dark ruby in color with a purplish rim. Fruity nose of blueberries, cherries, strawberries, cloves, wood, licorice, earth, light vanilla, smoke, spices, dark coffee and black pepper. Medium bodied with medium plus acidity and nice legs. Dry and fruity on the palate with cherries, black currants, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, spices, chocolates, earth, peppercorn and coffee. Medium plus in finish with round tannins and tangy cranberries. This Israeli Bordeaux blend is already drinking nicely. Not fully balanced yet, but showing mild complexity and a nice mouthfeel. Spicy with lots of clove notes. Good by itself or with food, and needs an hour to open up properly and show some tannins. A blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, 8% Syrah and 6% Petit Verdot. Aged for 10 months in French and American Oak barrels. I paired it with heavy appetizers. 14% alcohol by volume. 87 Points. $30.
