Eric Asimov - New York Times Like zibibbo, grillo is another Sicilian grape better known for sweet than dry wines. It has been an important constituent of the fortified wineandnbsp;Marsala, but recently I have seen it used to make attractive dry white wines. These grillo grapes are grown organically on a steep slope in the Agrigento region of southern Italy. The aromas and flavors are earthy and nutlike, floral and harmonious.

Parking near a bush of jasmine flowers on a hot day in June. Meyer lemons sweet enough to cut into smiles like oranges. Like coming back from a tropical vacation- wishing you were still there. Longingly scrolling through your photos

Something magical and special. The sense of balance, harmony and equilibrium is achieved with impossibly high mineral definition and aromatic range. Very high structural definition allows the flavors to couple very tightly, a quality possible only in the best Bordeaux and Burgundy.
