Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Central Virginia, this bucolic estate has been around since the Revolutionary War - the first landowner Joseph Early served under General George Washington! The current owners purchased the property in 2010. Currently at 55 acres of estate vineyards with an expansive extension of plantings underway. This is 88% Petit Manseng, 5% Pinot Gris 5% Sauvignon Blanc and 2%Chardonnay. Petit Manseng is well adapted to the environment here as it is naturally frost tolerant and resists mildew well. Fermented in a mix of vessels - oak puncheons, large acacia barrels and concrete egg and aged on the lees for a year. Alluringly textured, with bright orchard fruit and a healthy energetic streak. andnbsp;andnbsp;
