Beautiful wine: balance, structure and intensity. Loved it. Thanks Patrick Will!

Garnet in color with the first signs of bricking at the edge. Bacon fat, black pepper and sanguine on the nose. Palate of charred meat, sage and blackberry. Plenty of acidity and tannins present, but less fruit than expected. Lacks the balance and weight I've experienced with other Lala's. Thinner than I would have expected. A wet vintage, perhaps.

Overall enjoyed but just a bit more on the masculine side than the La Mouline.

Not my normal style, but beggars can't be choosers.
