Domaine Vacheron Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc 2019
This is a great introduction to the style of cousins Jean-Dominique andamp; Jean-Laurent Vacheron, whose biodynamic domaine in Sancerre has become a new reference point in the appellation. Their holdings are largely planted on soils with a great deal of flint, and their wines always show a subtle, hugely appealing smoky character married to the fresh citrus flavors that are customary in classic Sancerre.
