Black cherry liqueur aromas combine with some briarwood elements. Strong color and flavor intensity for its age. Chevillon is a great producer and the wine shows their craftsmanship. Just can’t avoid the feeling the vintage, because of the phenolic extraction, will ever let the wine unfurl into something truly pleasurable.

Very youthful. Dark nose, dark fruit, earthy and spice. Plentiful tannins and acid backbone. Very dense and complex. Fabulous potential but when to pop the next one. Can't wait to follow the evolution on this one.

3 years since the last bottle and progress has been at a glacial pace. Remain very young, tight and dense. Certainly needs additional time but IMHO a great vine lies hidden. Hard to give a quantitative rating. @Andrew Schirmer, @Roy Whitehead.
