Jean-Foillard has helped to define Morgon as perhaps the highest quality of the crus in Beaujolais with his elegant and age-worthy wines, none more so that the Candocirc;te du Py. This is quickly noticeable as a more serious expression, with deeper fruit and broader shoulders balanced against plenty of lifted acidity. The wine is fermented whole cluster in cement and raised in old barrels for the better part of a year. andnbsp;This wine begs to be aged more than most and should unfurl gracefully over the next 5 years.
