Pale lemon in color with a green hue. Strong nose of lemons, citrus, minerals, spices, grapefruits, herbs, light kiwi, green vegetables, asparagus and white pepper. Light to medium in body with medium plus acidity and nice legs. Dry on the palate with limes, grapefruits, grass, bitter herbs, citrus, minerals, spices, black pepper and sea salt. Medium finish with bitter almonds. This is a nice Sauvignon Blanc blend from the Loire Valley. Crisp and refreshing, but a bit bitter on the ending for my taste. Not fully balanced, but a good food wine. I paired it with a cheese plate and crackers as an appetizer, and then with oysters. 11 to 14% alcohol by volume (as it is marked on the bottle). $25.

First sips, chilled, sand food, crisp pear. Came into its own upon eating. Sweeter, delicate white peach and pepper, tasted oddly the way the Bloomington quarry smells...

First Reverdy Sancerre. Had more body and a little less acidity than I expected. Similar to Cotat's Mont Dames.
