Needs time but seems to have fine potential.

Smokey black cherry nose, medium depth of extracted colour. Tight initially. Needed thirty minutes in the decanted to open. Sandalwood, cedar, orange peel, rose.

2011 vintage. Great nose more reminisced of Cote Rotie than Pinot from Burgundy. Plush, earthy, spicy, black fruit profile. On the palate, disappoints relative to the nose. Slightly dilute and lacking in concentration. Medium plus acidity, medium minus tannins - chewy. Medium body and finish. Not bad, but was hoping for more!

Yay - no cola. Sommelier said lower alcohol likely will not have cola back end. This is 13%.
