Founded by Dominique Hauvette in 1988, the property has been farmed organically for decades and was an early trail blazer in the natural wine movement. All of Dominiques wines display elegance and precision while also capturing the wild character of Provence beautifully. Hauvette's Rosandeacute; Petra is far from your typical Provencal quaffer; 70% Cinsault with 15% each Syrah and Grenache pressed whole cluster into tank, it finishes fermentation and elevage entirely in concrete eggs. Wonderful blend of citrus and tart orchard fruit with more garrigue and savory, earthy tones. perfect with all sorts of summer fare, everything from grilled fish and summer vegetables to roast pork.
