Domaine Fabrice Gasnier is a family-owned estate based in Chinon just east of the village of Cravant-les-Coteaux.andnbsp; Since taking the reins as the fourth generation to own the property, Fabrice has pushed to improve the work, converting first to organic farming and eventually becoming certified biodynamic. Le Clos de la Cure is cuvee drawn from young vines of Chenin Blanc planted on calcareous clay soil that is bright, lifted, and extremely crisp. Delicate orchard fruit leads out over tart citrus with just a whisper of white flowers.andnbsp; This is patently dry chenin that would be well suited to shellfish, roast chicken or pork, goats cheese, and summer salads. Fermented in stainless steel with native yeast - elevage in steel.
