Grange des Peres has become somewhat of a cult wine in France but it's not one that's mentioned too often stateside. The property was started in the 90's by Laurent Vaillandeacute; and is located close by Mas de Daumas Gassac in the Languedoc. He had quite the tutelage before literally blasting out his vineyards with dynamite in the hillsides of his family's property, with stints at Chave, Coche-Dury andamp; Domaine de Trevallon. This is a blend of Syrah, Mourvedre, Cabernet and Counoise andndash; a dark fruited, driven beauty that shows the true potential of this region.andnbsp;
