In 2014 Guillaume and Helene Baron founded the Clos de la Barthassade in the Terrasses du Larzac, an area where many of the great producers of the Languedoc have settled over the past few decades.andnbsp; This appellation is the home of stellar producers like Mas de Daumas Gassac, Mas Jullien, and Grange des Peres all drawn by same potential that the Baron's saw in the area.andnbsp; Cuvandeacute;e H is comprised of a blend of Syrah, Mourvedre and Grenache. The vines are farmed biodynamically and the wines are made using 50-80% whole cluster, which is rather uncommon in the zone. The result is dark fruit andamp; herbaceous notes but with an appealing freshness that so typical of the best wines of the area. This is a serious bottle of wine at a great price, not to mention it is pitch perfect for fall drinking!
