This is almost 100% old-vine Pineau dand#39;Aunis with a tiny touch of Gamay. Pineau is a rare enough variety on its own, but carefully-crafted interpretations like this are almost non-existent. This is clearly Pineau at itand#39;s finest. You might place this somewhere between Chinon and Chambolle. Itand#39;s bright and fresh with just a touch of earthy funk and peppery spice. Donand#39;t be afraid to lay this one down for a few years. This magical, enchanting wine has a bit of a cult following, so donand#39;t be surprised to see them go quickly!

Сочно, естественно, подвижно и минерально. Требует легкого охлаждения и аэрации, после чего становится тоньше и расслабленней. Натурально, но без лишней грязи, насыщеннее ближе к дну бутылки

This is amazing! Unbelievable perfumed nose. Great funk and acidity on the palate with plums, maybe anise or something herbal. So expressive and beautiful. Wish there was more wine made like this! Have not had much pineau d'aunis before either.
