His vineyard work is as meticulous as anyone in France, and he and his father, Antoine, are due an immense amount of credit for the resurgence of native grape varieties on the island.andnbsp;This Vermentinu is from 40-year-old vines grown in granitic soils just outside of Corsica's capital, Ajaccio, on the western coast of the island.
