Nicely aromatic with black mulberry, ripe cherry, a bit of undergrowth, fallen leaves, slightly musty. Plus a healthy pinch of cloves, some allspice, fruity, savoury, fresh, with some nice depth to it. On the palate beautifully balanced, with great freshness, juicy acidity, and ripe, crunchy tannins. Black fruit galore with a savoury edge. Nice purity & energy here. Great with food, even better solo. Such a lovely wine!
