Clear pale rose color. Medium (-) aroma intensity. Burned sugar and citrus on the nose. Light creamy taste. Refreshing with medium acidity. Good for picnic on hot summer days. Manual harvested Cabernet Franc from 20 yrs young vines planted on 2 ha of gravel soils. Direct press, fermentation in unlined cement vats until dry. 2015 was the hottest vintage in 50 years. For those of us who prefer life in varied tones, who revel in the complexities and nuance intrinsic in existence: find yourself a bottle of this elegant rose. Subtle, but present. Profound, yet humble. A profile of elegance, an example that all the ugliness vomited out into our lives cannot deny us our simple pleasure in life.
