Dominique Belluard farms 10 hectares of vines biodynamically in a small village called Ayse located in the Savoie in the foothills of the Alps. He works with the grape Gringet a local cultivar not widely grown or commercialized. andnbsp;Dominique is singularly committed to this humble variety and make stupendous wines from it without artifice or manipulation. Les Alpes is a still white wine made from 100% Gringet.andnbsp; The grapes are fermented with native yeast in stainless steel tanks and concrete eggs and bottled with minimal sulfur. It is laced through with alpine freshness and resonant minerality with a shock of white orchard fruit and a nice cut of citrus.andnbsp;
