Vin Jaune is a traditional wine of the Jura, where a veil of yeast is allowed to cover the wine in barrels that are not topped off. Only the indigenous Savagnin variety is used in production, and the wines must be aged for a minimum of six years and 3 months in barrel. Tissotand#39;sandnbsp;Chateau Chalonandnbsp;is anandnbsp;breathtaking expression of this inimitable site. Itand#39;s more powerful than the Vasandeacute;e, with a smoky, honeyed character, exceptional purity and a finish that seems almost endless. It will age gracefully for 40+ years.

I feel really lame saying 'delicate' but this was a delicate vin jaune. So good.
