Aligotandeacute; is often regarded as the refreshing, cheap andamp; cheerful cousin to Burgundian Chardonnay, and in most cases this is an accurate representation. Aligotandeacute; from Bouzeron, particularly in the hands of someone like Aubert de Villaine of the fabled Romanandeacute;e-Conti, we're talking about something entirely different. Aubert works with a specific clone of Aligotandeacute; called Aligotandeacute; Dorandeacute;, which is native to the village of Bouzeron. Though this wine certainly does not lack for refreshment, its length and persistence are almost shocking for a wine at this price.andnbsp;It's a remarkable bottle that speaks to the potential of this grape when handled with such care.
