The nose is quite similar to the Londer Vineyard (Anderson Valley as well) bottling of the same 2013 vintage, with bouquet of blueberry, raspberry, steep red tea, vanilla, mushroom, and warm spices. Layered and supple, the palate is more savory on the palate than the nose suggests. Ripe candied tannins. At its peak but should have staying power for another 2-3 years.

V13. Very good! Smokey, crushed cherry nose. Fresh black cherry fruit. Nice, slightly tart, earthy, black pepper and baking spice finish. Nice weight and balance.

Ruby red in the glass. Dark cherry on the nose. An elegant just right balance of fruitiness with structure. I get cherries and cola on the palate. Acidity is very balanced and tannins are almost perfect. More Burgundian in style than most California Pinots. Pairing it with surf and turf at home tonight.
