This red wine is mostly Mencia (with a bit of Garnacha Tintorera blended in)andnbsp;from vines averaging in age from 26 andndash; 80 years, markedly younger than Laura's other vineyards. Mencia is a grape not found outside of the Iberian Peninsula, and fans of Pinot Noir or Gamay will love this aromatic, medium bodied wine. Flavors of tart cherries and blackberries are balanced by well-structured tannins, and a refreshing acidity.
