Daniel Bouland Vieilles Vignes Corcelette Morgon Gamay 2016
The Corcelette VV, from 60-80 year old vines, pops from the glass with tangy cherries, wispy red fruits and spice. On the palate, the wine skates seamlessly across the palate, with silky, ultra-fine tannins, appealing sap andamp; snap and excellent drive. The lacy character that this displays almost belies its incredible intensity. A wine that captures the lovely '16 vintage in perfect clarity and one that embodies everything that we love about Gamay at its elegant best.andnbsp;

Thick skinned. Made for early spring days when you’re cold in the shade and hot in the sun. Bouland’s Corcelette is skilled and heavy handed in one of the weightiest fruitiest Beaujolais I’ve tasted. Not fresh fruit though - red candy - raspberry, cherry, and wild strawberry with a pyrazine and salty mineral frame.
