Daniel Bouland Delys Vieilles Vignes Morgon Gamay 2016

The Delys, from vines planted in 1926, is another excellent bottling from Bouland this vintage, and a perfect contrast to Corcelette. It's darker fruited, with impressive density and concentration while maintaining excellent freshness. There are earthier, smoky tones on display here, a juicy mid-palate and firm, well-judged structure. It finishes with startling length and will richly reward 5-10+ years in the cellar if you can resist it for that long.
