This was 2nd bottle in last year & drank much better- much firmer iron/ mineral base out of which all that pretty fruit/cassis springs forth. Would have have drank even better w larger stemware, so even more impressive..Definitely fruit forward but for a rock head like me, good fun. Thanksgiving part 2

Big and tannic on the palate despite the age. Complex nose: ripe fig, leather, oak with hints of marzipan. Just imagine a Spanish Priorat with an extra layer of tannins. Opens up considerably after decanting. It'd be very hard to find a better Bordeaux for under $100.

Tres jeune, concentration, bouquet de fruits, bonne longueur, bouche soyeuse.

Ah-mazing! Raspberries, cigar box, cedar, mushrooms. Smooth, delicate with rich fruit flavors.
