50% Pinot Noir & 50% Gamay from Chateaugay, one of the 5 high quality regions of the Cotes d’Auvergne. Chateaugay sits just 30 minutes due west of Beaujolais. The Bonjean family have ancient vines growing on pink peperite soils (Basalt - Volcanic). This is easily one of the best wines in our entire shop for the money and it's drinking perfectly right now. Very serious Pinot Noir lifted by fresh and ultra-pure Gamay. Such a steal!
