Had held this bottle for over 25 years, was always my favorite vintage of Talbot for a long time. Understated, with deep dark fruit tones and tannin that is still solid. Beautiful nose slightly floral with wisps of leather and bell pepper.

Loved this. Lots of depth. We tried the 1971 as well which may have had some heat damage. But this was herbal silky wine brought a smile to my face with each sip.

The 75's Grand Cru Bordeaux's are drinking so well now. Sleeper year and this was right on front to back, beginning to end. Delightful.

Not much left. Still drinkable though. Hasn’t met a tannin in twenty years!

Perfect colour. Took about 1.5hr to open. Cork was still intact, ullage was up to the capsule. Could have aged another 10years? At first tannin was very forward but mellowed as it sat in the glass.
