Chateau Maris is a certified biodynamic estate in the Minervois in southern France. The team at Maris take sustainability extremely seriously, building their facility out of hemp composite bricks and ensuring the production of their wine is always carbon neutral. The Pays d'Oc Rouge is a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon that shows dark fruit and spice on a lighter more drinkable frame. Winemaker Robert Eden describes it as his lunch wine, something that will pair broadly and that doesn't sport too much alcohol or grippy tannins.
