Dark chocolate, cinnamon, caramel, clove, touch of nutmeg, dark rich soils, steeped black tea, some black licorice, tree sap, eucalyptus notes, leather, soft tobacco, saddle/wood with ruby, fresh and withering dark, red flowers with soft violets. The body is full. The mouthfeel gorgeous. The tannins firm, powdery, tarry & sticky. currants. Tasting group 2/7/16. Blind. Capsicum, hard, black plum. Capsicum in the flavors, odd tartness. Guessed right bank.

Dark rubi robe, nose of black plum, dark berries and a hint of flowers. Very elegant and complex, full bodied but light on its feet, no overripe merlots here, done in the classical way. We love it very much and think its one of the best of the right bank in this small vintage.

Took a minute for this to open up, but when it did, it was fantastic. Fruits kept some boldness, but still had some earthiness in there. Great velvety mouth feel. @Mes Amis with Tara, Bo & Kevin

Wow. Kaleidoscopic wine. Dark cherries, dark chocolate, tobacco, roses and violets, a precise, pure, elegant and complex wine that is great now but will stand the test of time. Tanins are polished as can be and the wine is long and same time subtle. Great stuff. Highly recommended. Get one bottle and see for yourself.
