Not sure how to analyze this for I don’t have many opportunities to taste 1st growth Bordeaux but when you find a case of it in the basement of your new house, what the hell. Surprised how long it has taken to open. No signs of slowing down; no browning color. Acid very much still there. Fruit shows up 2 hours down the road. Food helps it show true body.
