Very pale straw color with green apple, wet stone, citrus, and a bit of white flower aromas. On the palate the wine is medium-bodied and fresh with creamy texture green apple, lime, and a bit of grapefruit flavors that are complicated by a very appealing wet stone minerality and a very giving finish. Blend of Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscadelle. 12.5% abv

Slightly tropical and then a kiss of minerality. Too fruity for me, but nice cross over for NZ drinkers.

I think that too many white bordeaux's that make it to the american market are value drive. Sure, they taste nice for 11.99, but most customers save their +$20 for Sancerre. This one though, competes with those entry level sancerres in elegance and drive. Classic sauvignon blanc notes on the nose. Moves into this plush, round satisfying mid-palate and finishes very clean.
