1 hr decant and probably could have used more. Dark red color. Wine has a great nose of graphite, dirt, and chalk. Nice flavor but lacks depth and character. Seemed very Merlot dominated. Short finish. Wine goes from great to pretty good from nose to finish. Probably better wines at this price point, but was very nice.

2006 vintage. 13.3% Abv. Medium ruby. Medium intensity. A little closed on the nose. Black fruit profile but dulled. Oak is also dulled. Sweet spice on palate. Tannins are medium but soft. Medium plus alcohol and acidity. Medium plus length. Wine lacks a bit of personality and concentration.

2006. Very difficult to serve. Opens up only 6 hours in bottle. Vanilla, dense n jammy yet smooth palate. Drink.
