This is a surprising good wine for the price. Excellent with a pasta, Romano and pachetta cream sauce. Would not have normally tried this wine with this dish but it works die to the fruit and bit of age on the finish. Nice.

A bit stemmy, lacking fruit. Bit austere on back end.

Great structure and only 13.5 alc. Compliments your meal so well.

Intense, bold wine. Tannins still quite present. What a beast, but one you like to pet while watching tv. Wonderfull wine!

My Bordeaux kick continues....not a stand out, fruity, earthy, finish doesn't linger. Hoping for more out of this '09

2009. Probably too young. Nice Cassis but a bit rustic.

Loving the fruit forward 09. If you dig deep there is some lead pencil and earth, but it's hiding beneath tons of fruit. Starting to come together now.
