This wine is pitch perfect Gamayandnbsp;from 40+ year old vines on the lower, granite slopes of Moulin-a-Vent. Itand#39;s as lifted and drinkable as youand#39;d expect from quality Beaujolais from such a classic vintage, but because itand#39;s made without carbonic maceration it has the structure and texture more often associated with Pinot Noir.

The PERFECT Thanksgiving wine! Bursting with cranberry and raspberry at the front, followed by violets, green herbs and a touch of spicy cinnamon and pink peppercorn on the smooth finish. This wine was a perfect compliment to sage stuffing, turkey, roasted brussels and clove infused cranberry sauce.

По прошествии нескольких часов вино округляется и приподнимается в аромате; сохраняя поющую вертикальную кислотность, прибавляет в объёме. Увереннее вступают аккорды спичечной головки, графита, пороха, дыма, свеклы, ревеня, тёртого листа, чёрного перца. Чисто, звеняще, просто и типично.

When I find a great Beaujolais I didn't know about I feel a bit emasculated. But this was worth it times 10. Elegance more similar to julienas but with a tannic structure that's your ringer for MaV. Apparently they have a bottling that's $80 frontline... Beaujolais is, for better or worse, becoming some of the best wine in Burgundy.
