The greatest of all the right bank wines I have ever had and clearly in the top echelons of Bordeaux from anywhere in any vintage! This had dark plum fruit, meaty savor, crystalline acidity and exquisite texture. As good as it gets, especially with steak!!!!!

Second bottle from a purchase; in a word - stunning. Ethereal perfume - is it tobacco? Is it slightly sweet? Is that cassis? It’s all of the above and not really any of those specifically. The wine sits heavy on the tongue yet finishes impossibly light, leaving hints of cassis, tobacco, tea and a hint of chocolate. Amazing. I keep wanting more - this is 1982 Bordeaux at its finest

Another outstanding 1982, this time from Canon. Proper claret perfume of dusty library, tobacco, show polish and red fruits. Palate was excellent- red fruits, leather, cigar wrapper and some smoke with fine grainy tannins. Makes me just want to hang out near a fireplace and enjoy this for hours
