Could be a 9.0 but it’s tart and the tannins are slightly too grainy and chewy.

Medium ruby, very bright. Medium aromas of violet, cassis and black cherry. On the palate vanilla emerges with an elegant silkiness - full bodied and lots of finesse

The community of Saint-Estèphe has it roots in the Gallo-Roman origins of this chateau. A blend of 82% Cab Sauv, 16% Merlot & 2% Petit Verdot. Aged for 20 months in 100% new French oak deep purple with aromas of black fruit, floral and earthy notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry, black cherry, tobacco and cedar. Fine ripe grippy tannins, a powerhouse, ending elegant with fruit & spice. Will age well.
