Tasting the ‘15 vintage which was great in Bordeaux. Beautiful right after opening. Cassis notes coming to the fore with some air. Re-Tasting 11/13/20: rating affirmed.

I haven’t had a nice Bordeaux in a while but i typically cruise the affordable side, hoping for gems. This was a pleasant surprise. Some wood and perfume on the nose. Dark fruit, I saw someone said cassis and I can go with that - full body but with some brightness and good structure. Noticeable but integrated tannins… I’m in a good state of mind and this is brining a swell of life appreciation - can’t prove that’s on account of this exact wine but that’s the black magic of it all, eh?

A solid, well balanced, right-bank Bordeaux featuring cassis and tart red fruit.

A vineyard across the lake from another vineyard that sells bottles for $4800....I'll take this one cause I'm sure it's close enough for a fraction of the price!
