Herbal and refreshing, the oak is well integrated and not prominent. Influenced greatly by Selosse, Frederic ages his wines in oak barrels (40% less than 4 years old, rest older). Absolu is 100% Chardonnay, from 2 plots planted in the 70s, one ungrafted planted in 1972. This bottling had 82% of 2010 harvest and 18% of 2009, aged 6 years in bottle on its leed, dosage is 6g/L.

Oh man there is this flavor present that is just this resonant high tone fleshy thing that rings on and on and on. this is good. Just ignore it please. Terrible terrible not worth it.
