The recently imported, 100% Arinto from Caves São João from the Bairrada region of Portugal is a poor man's Lopez de Heredia, Vina Tondonia Bianco Riserva. We'd be lying if we said we knew tons about Portugese white wines outside of some quaffing Vinho Verde, but this is world class and such a steal to find wine 20 years old and so delicious for this price. Slightly and perfectly oxidative in a balanced way, this is wine you will fall hard for. Savory, unique and extremely useful at the dinner table.
