Cave Caloz (Anne-Carole et Conrad Caloz) Les Bernunes Valais Heida Païen 2015

This wine is 100% Heida-Paien, which is the local name for the grape known as Savagnin in the Jura. The wine shares some of the briny, mineral character of Jurassic Savagnin but is made in a non-oxidative style. The historic site known as Les Bernunes gives this bottle uncommon depth and makes for a wine you'll be thinking about long after your last sip.
