From 5ha of 30+ year old vines on clay/calcareous soils in Ginestra and Castelletto in Monforte d'Alba. Yields are around 2 kilos per plant. The wine is aged from 24-30 months in 2,500-5,000L barrels (and#39;Botti Grandeand#39;). The barrels are around 5-6 years old. The vinification is traditional with natural yeasts and maceration lasts around 45 days.
