Decanted briefly, but could do even longer. Lovely deep black cherries, cassis, roses. Funk burns off quickly on nose. Very lithe & medium bodied. Enchanting. Still a steal at low 30$s. Flavor profile is my sweet spot.

Such a nice wine for the price...good grief. Have had a couple different nerello mascaleses from Calabretta but I think this is the first time trying Capuccio. Might have guessed an exuberantly fruity gamay from the nose. Medium body and tannins and a very nice long finish punctuated with good acid. Delicious.
