Weand#39;ve been working with the wonderful Etna reds from Calabrettaandnbsp;for a while now, but this is the first time weand#39;ve offered this delicious 100% Nerello Cappuccio, a grape that is rarely seen in a mono-varietal bottling.andnbsp;The savory, spicy elements that generally define the Calabretta wines are definitely present, but thereand#39;s a lifted, fruit-driven side that gives it some more mass appeal and great versatility at the table. It also clocks in at only 12% alcohol, which makes it a perfect companion for extended meals.

An absolutely unique and beguiling wine. A red with thick saline overtones almost dominating. Dark fruits, heavy savory herbal notes bordering on cannibus.m, wet soil and hints of leather. Fruits tune a little purple with air. Drying tannins, medium to medium plus acidity with drying tannins and only 12% abv. Just cool.
