Decided to open on this SuperBowl evening. Amazed at how full of fruit and tannins this 11 year old wine was. After a couple of hours opened the wine was more complex, the tannins had smoothed, though the wine had also thinned out just a tad. Suspect we are in its prime, and will likely drink my other two bottles soon.
