91' Vega-Sicilia Unico Ribera del Dueto. Bright ruby red in color. The bottle and cork are in mint condition. WOW..The nose on this wine grabs you, with a wave of blackberries, flowers. Medium-bodied. The palate- Bold cherry, tobacco, licorice, dark blackberry liquor. Such complexity to this wine. Nothing heavy, it's seamless & very smooth. The finish Is nice and long with sweetness ,dried red fruits that linger. Beautiful bottle. Drinking in it's prime now. No problem at all settings this aside... for many more years to come. Take a moment and thank @Ron R for this truly exquisite treat . We are blessed ! Kristen wants to make it a point to open another one

I've never had an Unico that doesn't perform. Thus was no exception. Such a dense beauty with power and finesse. This lacked an extra gear that would have vaulted it much higher but I suspect more time in the decanter would have produced that result....alas we guzzled it up like townies pre-partying with some Natty light at the local Stop and Go. Also a contribution from the eloquent social scientist @Ron R
