Bénédicte & Stéphane Tissot La Tour de Curon Le Clos Côtes du Jura Chardonnay 2010

$125

From a minuscule .71 hectare plot, grown on Bajocien era limestone. Fermented in barrique, aged in 1/3 new wood, this savory wine has world-class complexity, density and length. Trust us that you will get absolutely lost in every glass of this wine. It's pure Jurassic magic.

2010 vintage. This is just on it right now. Medium golden hue, indicative of the slight oxygenative style of the producer. Honey, ripe lemon, nutty and complex on the nose. On the palate, huge concentration, power and layers of flavours. The finish goes on for a good couple of minutes. I prefer this to the excellent 2009. One of the best white wines I have had this year? For sure.
